One aspect of business entrepreneurs have to consider is their personal life. You may be wondering what your personal life has to do with your business. A lot, change is going to happen when you start a business. Actually change is going to happen throughout your life, so why not control how it changes?
Social Influences
So at what point should we not be concerned that our network is going to have such an influence on us? It will always have an influence. Think about your friends and think about yourself, there are lots of similarities. That’s why you’re friends, right? You have a lot in common. So what if you chose to better yourself, indulge in reading and learning, improving yourself day by day.
Seeking people doing the same daily activities. These are likely people that are also thriving financially.
Network=Networth
Not everyone starts out wealthy, they begin living the way successful people do, without the money of course. But as they change their lifestyle and activities to be like the upper class, things in their life start happening full circle.
You’re magnetically attracted by different groups and are able to share ideas, what to do and what not to do. Its all about who you know!
Education
Education for the lower class is viewed as getting educated. For the middle class it is getting by, however, for the upper class it is about networking.
Think about it, is Harvard, Yale, Duke, all the ivy league colleges that much better of an education? Or will they find like-minded individuals to encourage them to reach greater heights in life?
If they were at a junior college, they would meet a large variety of people including ones fresh out of high school that didn’t have the money to go to a four year college. Maybe adults that never went to college and decided to take some classes, or could be students that were making bad grades in a University and their parents transferred them to prove a point.
Successful Business
To have a successful business, you have to make sure your mindset is in place. Books and social networks will play a large part in how successful your business may be.
If you network with people you aspire to be, you have a greater chance of obtaining that goal. If you weren’t born with a silver spoon and put through the ivy league college, there is still hope. Not every successful person was set up to succeed and we all know that a lot of people that were set up, are worthless.
So start reading, feeding your mind and networking with those who are in a place you want to be. Make them your mentor whether they know it or not. Persevere and one day your efforts will pay off ten fold.
Take this to heart if you want to start making money. It will never happen if your close influences are “couch potatos”.
